eNICE is the online home of the National Initiative for Cultural Education.
         
Mission Statement of the National Initiative for Cultural Education:
   
The purpose of the National Initiative for Cultural Education is: 
 
1) To assist and educate individuals from outside the United States with understanding American culture and laws.
2) To educate native and non-native speakers how to read, write, speak and understand English correctly and to use those skills to communicate verbally and in written form;
3) To educate native and non-natives about cultural diversity through various programs such as mentoring, culture sharing, community involvement; and,
4) To create a sense of community and unity between natives and non-natives through workshops, classes and meetings, with town/city/county/state officials, government employees, schools, organizations and everyday citizens in order to help not only understand the cultures of one another, but also to respect each others' cultures and not fear interaction with one another.
